Dental Implants

Missing teeth are generally the result of poor dental health, gum disease or accidents. Leaving the missing tooth space empty may not sound too serious, but the consequences of not filling in the space include the following:

• The teeth adjacent to your missing tooth can change position to fill the gap.
• The loss of your missing tooth’s root can cause your jawbone to shrink, making your face appear prematurely older.
• A missing tooth in the front of your mouth can affect your smile and your self-confidence.

Dental Implants have been used successfully for many years. The implant itself is a post that is surgically placed in the jaw imitating the rot of a natural toth. An artificial tooth is then attached to the post. Both the surgical placement as well as the restoration of the implant are done at our dental office.
